Reflecting on Season 11 & Joining Us for Our Final Market!

As we pull up the stakes on Season 11 of the Kings Grant Farmers Market, we want to start by keeping it completely real with our community: this year has been a tough one. From scorching summer heat waves and slow foot traffic to multiple weather cancellations that threw off our schedule, it hasn't been an easy road for our market family or our hard-working vendors.
That is exactly why our final market on Thursday, September 17th, means so much to us.
These small family businesses, local farmers, bakers, and artisans pour endless time and heart into what they do. We want to invite everyone out to Little Neck Road from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM to give them the blowout send-off they truly deserve. Skip cooking dinner and hit up Hangry’s, Clucks, or Luva Bowls, enjoy live music from Eric Staab, and help us buy out our vendors' tables before they pack up for the winter!
We are also honored to welcome Mended Hearts of Coastal Virginia to our lot this week. Mended Hearts is an incredible volunteer-led organization dedicated to bringing hope, support, and resources to local children and families affected by congenital heart defects. If you are participating in their upcoming ROCK the BEAT 5K, swing by their table on the lot to pick up your race packet and learn more about the vital work they do in our area!
Finally, a market like ours simply doesn't happen without a strong foundation. Above all, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to King's Grant Baptist Church. For 11 incredible years, they have generously hosted us, provided wonderful volunteers, and never charged our market a single dime to use their space. Their selfless commitment to our neighborhood is the true reason this market exists.
We also owe a massive thank you to our 2026 season sponsors:
Leaf Filter Gutter Protection
Orozco Homes
Reitzel Home Improvement
Holly Fisher Homes | Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices
Your backing kept our market open through every curveball this weather threw at us this year.
Thank you to every neighbor, family, and volunteer who showed up this season. Let's make this final Thurday September 17th of Season 11 our absolute best turnout yet. See you on the the market, Lori
